The right mood. The right songs. The Project delivers both. This acoustic rock trio plays a variety of songs from classic rock to current pop, engaging the audience with catchy hooks, terrific harmonies, and top-shelf musical chops.
The Project features three experienced musicians who have played together for years: Bob Goldberg (lead vocals and guitar), Eric McCleaf (guitar), and Jason Wilson (bass guitar and backing vocals). Either as the Project or in other band incarnations, the group has gigged regularly throughout the greater Baltimore-Washington area, as well as in New York, Philadelphia, and elsewhere. Venues played include the Velvet Lounge and Hard Rock Cafe in Washington, D.C.; the Clarendon Grill, Whitlow's on Wilson, the State Theatre, and Jaxx in northern Virginia; and Fletcher's and the Vault in Baltimore. They have also performed at D.C.-area festivals and as in-studio guests on the 98 Rock and WRNR radio stations.
The Project's long and ever-evolving song repertoire includes artists ranging from Pearl Jam and Bon Jovi to Paramore and Lady Antebellum, mixing uptempo songs with mellow rock ballads. The band maintains an active social media presence and works to promote gigs to its fans and friends.
